A Blog is an online diary. People visiting your website can be kept up to date with your latest news by reading your blog. If you want to add a blog to you website we recommend you use blogger.com which is a very popular free blog owned by Google. To get started simply go to www.blogger.com and create your blog with them (customising it to look similar to your website if you want). Then all you have to do is link up to it in your Wizz-it control panel, follow the instructions below on how to do this.

To edit your blog settings:

Step 1:
Click on the Pages Tab.

Step 2:
Click on the Add a Page link.

Step 3:
From the Select a Page Type menu select "Blog".

Step4:
Under the Menu Title field enter the name of the page as you would like it to appear in the main navigation.

Step 5:
Select the Sub-menu that you want the page to appear under. Select none if you want it to appear on the main navigation menu.

Step 6:
Under the Order field select the new position of the page. The order you select will either be the order of the page on the main navigation menu or the order within the sub-menu, depending on which option you chose above. Beside each number in the list is the current page in that position. This page, along with all the pages in higher positions, would therefore be moved up a position after re-ordering your page.

Step 7:
Under the Blog URL field enter the web address of the blog you want to create a link to. Please make sure you enter the 'http://' part before 'www'.

Step 8:
Under the target menu choose whether you want the page to load in the same window as the website or as a pop-up.

Step 9:
Select the status of your link: select 'active' if you want the page to become live or 'draft' if you don't want it to show up on your website.

Step 10:
Press the Save button to save your changes.
