A homepage is the page that visitors to your site will land on first before entering your site and usually holds a logo or image which when clicked on take you into the site. This page will have all styling removed from it such as the foreground colours/ navigation/ footers etc and will display just the content you enter in the text editor against your chosen background colour (or image). All content will then be a link into the website.

To create a homepage:

Step 1:
Click on the Contents tab then click on the Manage Pages button.

Step 2:
Press the Add button if you want to create a new page, then select 'Splash Page' from the Page Type list. Or if you want to make an exisitng page your homepage click on the page you want to turn into a homepage from the list.

Step 3:
Next you'll come to the Settings Section of the page. Scroll down the page until you get to the Use this page as my homepage' box. Select this box (or deselect it if you don't want to use the page as a homepage).

Step 6:
Press the save button at the bottom of the page.
