Content > Create/delete a menu item which links to a webpage on the internet

 

This will let you create a link to sit on your main navigation menu and when clicked on will take you directly to another page on the internet. This is useful if you want to provide a seamless link to a blog (for example www.blogger.com) or a shopping cart system (for example www.shopify.com)

Step 1:
Click on the Contents tab then click on the Manage Pages button.

Step 2:
Click on the Add Page button.

Step 3:
Select External Link from the Page Type list.

Step 4:
Under the Menu Title field enter the name of the page as you would like it to appear in the main navigation.

Step 5:
Select the Sub-menu that you want the page to appear under. Select Main Menu if you want it to appear on the main navigation menu.

Step 6:
Under the External Page URL field enter the web address of the page you want to create a link to. Please make sure you enter the 'http://' part before 'www'.

Step 7:
Under the target menu choose whether you want the page to load in the same window (Website Window) as the website or as a pop-up (New Window).

Step 8:
Select the status of your link: select 'active' if you want the page to become live or 'draft' if you don't want it to show up on your website.

Step 9:
Press the Save button to save your changes.
