A form is a great way for you to collect information off your customers quickly and easily. To create a form:
Step 1:
Click on the Pages Tab.
Step 2:
Select the form you want to edit from the list or if you want to create a new one press the Add Page link and select Contact form from the drop down list.
Step 4:
Next you will be brought to the Settings page. Scroll down to the Title field and enter the new name of the page. This is used by search engines to determine your page rank so we recommend using as many keywords as possible.
Step 3:
Under the Menu Title field enter the name of the page as you would like it to appear in the navigation menu.
Step 4:
Select the menu (or sub-menu) that you want the page to appear under. Select Main Menu if you want it to appear on the main navigation menu.
Step 5:
Select the status of your page: select 'active' if you want the page to become live or 'draft' if you don't want it to show up on your website.
Step 6:
Press the Next button and you will be taken to the Content section where you'll be able to add your page content and choose the fields in your form.
Step 7:
Scroll down to the text editor and enter the copy you want on your form page. Click here to see the button appendix page for more help on using the text editor.
Step 8:
This next section is where you create the fields to go on your page. You can have up to 10 fields in each form. For each one select whether you want the field to be a single line or multi-line and then enter the label to go beside each field. Make sure for each of your fields you have the Required box ticked. The forms submitted will be sent to your registered email address (in the Personal settings page under the Settings tab).
Step 9:
Press the Save button.
